Alcatraz/La Noria
This disco - located next to Zanzibars
- use to be called Alcatraz. It has re-opened under the new name of La
Noria. They have also knocked out some of the front walls facing the street.
This will hopefully make it less hot and claustrophobic in there. It was
never a favorite place of mine, but hopefully the changes will improve
matters. After returning from a trip in June though it appears not. People
hang out in front of the disco, but it is a rare soul who actually ventures
in.
