Duarte Street
Duarte Street. Once the sun goes down and the
day cools off this is where the action is. It is a small stretch of road
that looks quite seedy during the day and even more so at night. But along
this seedy little patch of ground is where most of us will find our evening's
entertainment. Lined up along the street are some dives right out of an
Akim Tamiroff film. This is where most of the night's activities take place.
The merengue music will play till the
last fellow gives up and goes home. Every trip it seems to be a different
hot spot, but I promise you it won't be hard to find.
