In Response To: Boca Chica Questions. (Xman)
"So, I have prepared myself for the worse, if it should come to that."
>It won't - unless you are Al Gore with a yard long stick up your ass or George W Bush with a holier than thou attitude or you have an aversion to relaxing and having fun and having sex with strangers - there is no way not to enjoy a three day trip to Boca. I guarantee - if you relax - don't go with the first girl that squeezes your testicles - but instead just take your time and watch the flow and personalities of the girls - you will make good choices and have a great time. Of all the girls I have been with from Boca - and there have been more than a few handfuls by now - there are only a few that come to mind that I would not want to be under my desk right now giving me a slow luxurious blow job. Even bad sex in Boca is better than most sex elsewhere.
QUESTIONS:
1) I paid a roundtrip ticket of $452.00 from New York (JFK) to Santo Domingo on TWA.
I thought this was quite expensive.
Did I pay to much? Maybe a local NY member can answer this question.
> It is expensive under normal conditions - I usually pay $325-375 - but January is prime vacation time. I have been trying to get down in January as well and was quoted from $450-$550.
3) What price should I expect to pay the taxi driver from the SD airport to Boca Chica?
>Apparently the price just jumped from 150 pesos to 200 pesos - still fair though - $15 for a 20 minute ride
4) From the archives, the hotels most popular with Tsm member were Casa Coca and the Costalunga.
In your opinion, will their be rooms available (in January) without a reservation?
>I don't think it will be a problem - this isn't the Italian vacation time as far as I know and they are the ones who fill the hotels in Boca - but still why not make a reservation - both Gary and the Costa Lunga are pretty good about holding them
Which hotel do you recommend? (I realized the Casa Coca has no AC).
I would like no hassle bringing in a girl regardless of the time of day.
With no Id check if she does not carry one.
What price should I expect to pay for a room? Archives list range $30.00-$50.00 per night.
>Well really all hotels these days are keeping watch on the girls coming in - some a bit more lax than others - but it is hit and miss - one time they won't check the next time they will - but as long as the girl has cedula there is no problemo - if not - you just take your chances - at night usually the guard can be bought for 100 pesos. The hotels legitimately have concerns about being shut down if underage girls are caught on the premises - so they have to protect themselves - on the other hand it only happened to one hotel and there were other circumstances involved.
>In general I am a big fan of Costa Lunga - its easily the best hotel down there in terms of . . everything - and I hear they are back to being somewhat hassle free re: the girls and the blonde demon woman is gone.
5) Is the popular nightspot still La Noria Disco @ Zanzibar?
Are their other nightclub I should pay a visit to? What is the best time to go?
>Thats it - makes life simple - grab an outside table and wait until you see someone that attracts you. Most of the available girls these days are working in the bars - they need the ID so they don't get arrested - but they will go with you at any time just about. Remember Boca is nothing more from a physical point of view than a one street town with a bunch of run down bars - don't be expecting to see a bunch of glittery discos and night clubs! From a mental point of view though it is an entirely different story - and some people just can't make that leap.
How is the afternoon & street action in BC?
>No street action in the daytime - a little beach action - at Ronnies and at some of the Italian beach bars further up (towards town). As was said - its best to arrange ahead of time - though with only 3 days it will be a little more difficult to get this working well.Once you know a few of the girls - its easy to arrange.
6) Since I prefer short time affairs some posters have stated the price varies between 300-700 pesos.
>Definitely no more than 500 esp in the daytime - at night for absolute top quality - perhaps a bit more - but you should not have to.

>Sounds like a good deal to me

>If you want to be able bring in anything up to and including roadkill at >anytime
of day then Casa C. is the place to be(PH:1-809-523-4409, FAX: 1-809->523-4216).
For Jan I would reserve but if you are arriving later in the >evening then I would
have a back up plan if and when your room disappears. e->mail:costalunga@codetel.net.do.
You are more assured that your reservation >will hold at the Costalunga.
What price should I expect to pay for a room? Archives list range $30.00-$50.00 per night.
>$35-$45 for deluxe room at Gary's with no air. $35 for standard room at Costalunga with Air, TV, etc.
5) Is the popular nightspot still La Noria Disco @ Zanzibar?
It's the ONLY place (starts to pick up about 1am if it picks up at all). Saturday
& Sunday seem to be the best nights.
Are their other nightclub I should pay a visit to? What is the best time to go?
>Not unless you look Dominican and speak real good Spanish. You can try the >Disco at Hamaca to hang with the other tourists but bring your own date.
How is the afternoon & street action in BC?
>It's at Ronnies. Sometimes there are some half decent girls there. Try set >sumething up the night before at La Noria or better yet hook up with Piccolina >or the other one (forget her name)to get you something for the afternoon
6) Since I prefer short time affairs some posters have stated the price varies between 300-700 pesos.
>IMHO ST is the only way to go in BC. Some are worthy of LT but not many in my >experience. 300-700 is definitely the range. You should NEVER go higher than >500 for ST unless you are desperate

Taxi from the airport to BC is 200 pesos.
My favorite hotel in BC is Casa Coco, which costs me $25
USD. I stayed at Calypso for 500 pesos a night but after
some haggling. On my last trip I thought Casa Coco was
closed but is now open. I don't think you'll need to make
reservations during that time but it doesn't hurt to do
so.La Noria and Zanzibar are the hot spots. I'm not sure of
the current prices for chicas but what you quoted seems
accurate. I stayed with my girlfriend the whole time I was
there ( All of 55 hours ).ATM's where working and the food accross the street from
La Noria was very good. The Pizza at Portofinos is also
very good and he has a cigar shop if your into that. I
liked the Don Juan Carlos. Next time I'm there I'll bring
some back home.I know you'll have fun. there a some true sweeties there
along with the hard cores. take your time there. Chicas
show up around 10PM but between 1AM and 3AM is best. there
is day action also. actually there is something at all
times. Sure wish I was going back. Unfortunately I'll be
stuck in dark freezing Alaska ondreaming of Boca Chica and
listening to Merengue. LOL
Cheers !
