Soi Cowboy

Soi Cowboy is located down Sukhumvit Road from NANA Plaza between Soi Asoke and Soi 23. Soi Cowboy seems to be the least popular of the three Bangkok night-life entertainment spots (not sure why) at least by the regular tourist population. Perhaps because it is just a little further out, who knows. The bars on the Soi Cowboy strip are a favorite of expats and locals (perhaps since there are less anoying tourists there).

Reportedly, the girls of the Soi Cowboy bars a a little less hardened than their counterparts in Patpong and even NANA and therefore can make better "REAL" companions. Bar Fines in these bars tend to run 300 to 400 baht. Most of the girls in the larger bars here are the same as in NANA and Patpong these days in that they REALLY do not want to go long time (hell -- economics again). The smaller bars (as elsewhere in Bangkok and Thailand in general) are where to find the girls who will be willing to hang out with you long time (overnight and even for several days at a time).

All Soi Cowboy bars have no cover charge, offer specials and most have topless go-go dancing with a few offering full nude dancing. Some of the bars in Cowboy are open in the afternoon with most becoming active around 6:00 (as with the other areas) and staying open till around 2:00-3:00am.
